In the Full Service version, videos must be filmed (for
posting by Critical Pathfinders) by August 31, 2008.
In the DIY
version, videos must be posted on YouTube by September 10, 2008.
Submissions
made after the above dates will be eligible for future iterations of the TEAMTUBE
contest.
The "counting time" for favorites is 12:00pm EST on September
30, 2008. At this time, the most favorited video will be declared the winner,
provided that it meets the Submission Criteria.
Submission
Criteria
Submitted films must in some way be about the concept
of team.
Videos must be between 2 and 5 minutes long. Videos longer
than 5 minutes in length will be trimmed to 5 minutes.
At least
5 people must make an appearance in the video. There is no maximum number of people
who can appear in the video.
Those 5+ people must all work for,
or belong to, the same company or organization. The winning team will be required
to verify the identity of the participants.
More than 5 people
may be on the team, however prizes will be awarded based on a maximum team size
of 10 participants.
Anyone can favorite a video. A free YouTube
account is required.
The film must be "homemade". It
must be filmed using a camcorder and minimal effects / production / subtitling
are allowed. Teams that are deemed to have used excessive effects or subtitles
may be asked to resubmit their videos. Teams with excessive production may be
disqualified by Critical Pathfinders at our discretion.
The film
may use an organizational name and/or logo. This can be at the beginning / end
or as a small footer throughout the video.
The film may promote
the company or organization, but this should not be the focus of the film since
it will likely lower the number of views/favorites.
Films must
be tasteful.
Films should not reveal company sensitive / insider
/ proprietary information. If they do it is at the risk of the submitting group.
It is the sole responsibility of submitting teams to review, understand and abide
by their employer's or organization's policies regarding sharing videos in the
public domain. Critical Pathfinders disclaims any and all liability or responsibility
for disputes arising between a team and the team's company or organization related
to this Contest.
Videos must be original content. No content may
be included in videos that has been trademarked or copyrighted in any country.
Critical Pathfinders takes no responsibility for trademark, copyright, patent,
rights or other intellectual property violations caused by submitted videos. Such
violations are the sole responsibility of the submitting team.
In the event that requests are made to remove videos from the public domain, Critical
Pathfinders will respond as promptly as possible, however it may take several
business days to process the request.
Videos may be evaluated
against the above criteria by our staff. We may disallow, remove or disqualify
at our discretion.
All submissions must be in English.
All
entry information and submissions shall be deemed collected and judged in Canada.
Payments made to Critical Pathfinders represent the purchase of
a team building program. Submissions to YouTube, the TeamTube group and contest
entry are provided at no additional cost. If submitted videos do not meet the
requirements, no refund is provided although teams will be able to re-submit videos,
provided the submission deadline has not expired.
